Hi there. Let me start by saying that it is tragic that prop H8 passed in California. As a gay christian (learn more on how I was able to reconcile my faith with my sexuality by watching me on the Rizi's story link above), I know that God loves us all and wants EQUALITY FOR ALL!! This prop H8 is non-christian and fails to reflect the love of Jesus for All. When they voted our fundamental human rights away, these so called christians failed to observe the greatest commandment from Jesus which is to love your neighbor as yourself! We are their neighbors, and if they love themselves enough to get married, they should love us enough to leave us to enjoy our recently won right to marry but instead, they voted that right away. Also, whats going on here with SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE?! We, as a nation, do not believe in second-class citizenship and the 70% of BLACKS who sadly voted yes on H8 should have learned the lesson (at least 40 years ago) that "Separate, but Equal" is NOT EQUAL. It wasn't right when we treated women as less than men. It wasn't right when we treated black people as less than whites. And it is not right to treat gay and lesbian people as less than straight people. This is discrimination! My new inspirational/Christian CD, "Come out AKA You can Come Out of your closet ", is for you. My hope is that it will inspire you to understand that God does absolutely love you just as gay as you are and you must not let the religion-based hatred and biblical misinterpretation/ignorance of those who voted yes on H8, to discourage you. There is no monopoly on Gods love... His love and grace are available to "WHOSOEVER" will accept it, and that includes you and me my dear friend. God doesn't hate homosexuals and God's love is for EVERYONE."
